Chris joined Peoria Area Veterinary Group in 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant at our Dunlap Location. Previously, Chris had worked as a Paramedic in an ER Department as well as a Fire Department. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, Luke, music, playing hockey, softball, cooking, woodworking, and spending time outdoors.
Kristin Bart
Boarding Coordinator
Kristin is a native Peorian and all of her childhood pets were even Dunlap patients. She graduated from Eureka College with a degree in Sociology and Psychology and her interest in people remained over the years as she developed a love for dogs and a strong interest in animal behavior. In her free time, you might find Kristin spending time with family and friends, watching football, bird watching, reading a good book, gardening, or just catching up on her favorite shows. Kristin shares her life with two Maltipoos named Bunker and Mulligan.
Erin White
Erin White was raised in Naperville before moving to Central Illinois nine years ago after marrying her husband. Ever since she was a kid, she always loved animals—this led to her earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Western Illinois.
Erin currently lives with three French Bulldogs, who have all been adopted from the Chicago French Bulldog rescue. When Erin is not at work, she loves baking, cooking, gardening, and zooming around on her husband’s motorcycle.
Kylie Vinson
Veterinary Assistant
Kylie, from Chillicothe, is one of our fabulous vet assistants. She started out here as a kennel assistant, then went to school where she eventually became a certified nurse’s assistant. After working in that field for a little while, she needed a change, and lucky for us, she came across an opening for a vet tech, and we hired her back!
Kylie has always loved animals for as long as she can remember, and she was destined to have a career in the veterinary field. She shares her home with a six-year-old Chihuahua named Bella, and when she’s not on the job, Kylie enjoys playing co-ed softball, going boating, and doing anything else related to the outdoors.
Brenna Keyt
Brenna was born in Peoria and, growing up, she always had animals and always loved animals. She attended Illinois State University before coming to us as our amazing receptionist. She has been with us for over 15 years and still loves every aspect of the job—she especially enjoys learning about animals and meeting all of our fantastic clients and their pets!
