Exotics

We work hard to expand and provide our customers with new exotics services.

Some of the species we work with are below.

Rabbits

When rabbits are not feeling well, they tend to hide signs of pain or illness. These furry creatures are also susceptible to other issues including cancer, hairballs, parasites, and overgrown teeth. Please contact PAVG if you notice your rabbit:

  • Has low or increased temperature
  • Gurgling stomach
  • Runny stools
  • Discharge from the nose or eyes
  • Begins tilting their head
  • Has bald patches
  • Has a loss of appetite
  • Shows any other abnormal behavior

Rabbits should also be seen for regular dental checkups to ensure that their teeth are healthy to avoid any severe, life-threatening conditions. We also suggest you have your rabbit spayed or neutered (this does not affect their personality), especially since they can have up to 14 babies at a time and can potentially give birth once a month.

Other benefits of spaying or neutering include:

    • Protection from different types of cancer
    • Less aggression
    • Eliminates spraying, mounting, biting, and destructive chewing
