Ashley has been with PAVG since 2010. Ever since she was young, she always knew that her love of animals would one day lead to her having a career in this field, and we’re happy to have her at PAVG!
Ashley spends her free time with her husband and two adorable boys. She currently has a chocolate lab named Deke, two cats (Jolene and Carol), and two rabbits (Donny and Crossy).
Shyann Jones

Hello! I’m Shyann Jones, I grew up in a small town of Elmwood with my parents, older sister and our three large family dogs. I became very passionate about the care and well-being of animals at a very young age. I vowed to one day make it my career and to help be the voice of the animals. I attended Robert Morris University for two years and started my career in Veterinary Medicine soon after. I came to Peoria Veterinary Group the beginning of October 2021 and can truly say, I work for a wonderful clinic and people who share the same compassion and love for the animals. I share my home with my significant other Billy and our small zoo! We have four pups: Bear, Scout, Zeus and Diesel and seven kitties: Sunny, Poppy, Simba, Tazmanian Devil, Tarzan, Slick and Blossom. I enjoy spending my time with every single one of them whether its long walks or eating snacks on the couch! I look forward to giving the same love to your fur baby!
Leah Johnson
Veterinary Assistant
Leah Johnson has been working with us, since spring of 2022, as a veterinary assistant. She has always had a passion for animals and was even nicknamed “the cat loving maniac” at a very young age. Leah has 5 cats and 1 very mighty and ferocious Land shark chihuahua named Shay. In Leah’s spare time she loves binge watching TV series and crocheting.
Halli Mansfield
Hello, My name is Halli, I started working for PAVG in the summer of 2020 as a high-school co-op class. I quickly fell in love with the field and have since transitioned to a veterinary assistant. I have 5 pets of my own including 1 dog Chico, and 4 cats: Ivy, Nieko, Teddy Spaghetti, and Finneas. I truly look forward learning and growing with PAVG and meeting all of our clients and their furry friends.
Adam Snodgrass
Adam is from Princeville and comes to us after looking to combine work with his love of animals, which he has been interested in since he was young. He currently has a Shih Tzu named Max who loves taking naps. In his free time, Adam enjoys playing basketball and other sports, and likes watching films with Max, who is a big movie buff.
Kathy Cain
Kathy began working at our Dunlap office in October of 2009 as a Customer Care Representative. She loves interacting with visitors in the office and enjoys seeing all of the different kinds of animals. She received an Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences from Illinois Central College. In her free time, she enjoys music, concerts, and camping.
