H.A.L.O. Fund
H.A.L.O. stands for “Helping Animals Live Organization,” and was created by Peoria Area Veterinary Group to assist clients financially in situations that will save a pet’s life. This fund was renamed the Candace Dunbar H.A.L.O. Fund, in honor of a beloved former employee who fought a battle with cancer. Candace was a driving force behind the creation of this fund, and its creation wouldn’t have been possible without her help.
Every dollar donated to this fund goes directly toward medical costs in life-threatening situations. We believe financial limitations should not be the cause of a pet’s vet care.
Countless animals have benefited from this fund over the years, and we are looking to continue providing emergency care for those who cannot afford it.
