Dunlap I Team

Kristin Bart

Boarding Coordinator

Kristin is a native Peorian and all of her childhood pets were even Dunlap patients. She graduated from Eureka College with a degree in Sociology and Psychology and her interest in people remained over the years as she developed a love for dogs and a strong interest in animal behavior. In her free time, you might find Kristin spending time with family and friends, watching football, bird watching, reading a good book, gardening or just catching up on her favorite shows. Kristin shares her life with two Maltipoos named Bunker and Mulligan.

Traci Allen

Customer Care
Traci Allen is from Waterloo, Iowa. Tracy has always loved animals—when she was a child, she remembers draping worms over her tricycle handlebars after it rained, just to give them rides. She also recalls attempting many “rodent rescues” when she was younger.

When Traci isn’t working, she enjoys a good book but also has been known to binge watch an enjoyable TV show for hours. She also of course likes spending with her family.

Karen Schwerbrock

Office Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician

Karen grew up in Indiana and now lives on a nine-acre farm nearby. She came to us at PAVG after her own ma/pa clinic closed and, right when this happened, an opening came up here and she was hired!

Growing up, Karen always knew she wanted to work in the animal field. She went to undergraduate and vet tech school at Purdue (go Boilers!) before she met a veterinarian, got married and opened up their own practice years ago.

Karen comes home to a 31-year old Pony named Bingo, an old roping horse named Paco and five cute kitty cats who help control the mice population. In her free time, you can find Karen spending valuable time with her wonderful kids (specifically watching them play basketball—go Vikings!), playing pickleball and racquetball, weight lifting and doing yard work, which helps her relax.

Erin White

Veterinary Assistant
Erin White was raised in Naperville before moving to Central Illinois nine years ago after marrying her husband. Ever since she was a kid, she always loved animals—this led to her earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Western Illinois.

Erin currently lives with three French Bulldogs, who have all been adopted from the Chicago French Bulldog rescue. When Erin is not at work, she loves baking, cooking, gardening and zooming around on her husband’s motorcycle.
